Have been trying to figure out how to leave a comment. I received my JC sandals last week and have worn them every day - they are like being barefooted, but with sole! As a diabetic, barefoot is taboo - and barefoot is my preference. With these shoes I get the best of both - protection AND comfort. Just wanted to leave this as a comment. LOVE THESE SANDALS!!

Hey- not really sure how to leave a commment on the web site.....thought I'd try it this way. Just got a pair of the ecolyte flip flops and I love them. They are light weight, but feel really sturdy. The fabric part is so soft and feels good on. Being pregnant and having swollen feet makes it hard to find comfortable shoes and these are the only ones I'm wearing these days. Thanks for making a great product!

Hey Guys--20 years ago I cut half of my big toe and my second toe off in a lawnmower accident. Finding shoes in general has been a nightmare ever since. I've ordered five pairs of your shoes in the past week--two for me, one for my husband, and a pair each for two friends. As soon as I put them on, they molded to my feet and I don't want to wear anything else. I suspect by the end of the summer, I'll own every pair you make. I've been meaning to write this e-mail for sometime now, i purchased ur famous JC camel, the origiNAL and i took a trip to jamaica. I have friends make me tell this story any time someone new see's me wearing my sweet sandals, so i figured i'd better tell it to the shoe makers. when i got off the plane, a guy noticed them and was like "wow, mon, check out ur sandals mon, WOW!" and then he was like "Can i touch em' mon?" and of course i was like sure no problem, and he goes "WOW, mon! it's so soft mon, it don't look like it be so soft mon!" and i thought cool someone appreciates the sandals as much as me, however this little scenario played out 28 more times with 28 different Jamaicans before we ever got to the hotel, then it happened on the beach, when we went to see Bob Marley's grave, EVERYWHERE, i was stopped constantly and asked about them and asked if they could touch them.. LOL, it was pretty fun, and awesome to advertise ur footwear in Jamaica!!! i felt almost famous... It would seem that you guys and gals could probably sell an a** load of shoes there, because they were quite intrigued by them...definitely a market there!! Something to consider?? Regardless, thanks for the super sweet time had in Jamaica because of the JC CAMEL. Seriously the best ice breaker...

I ordered a pair of sandals from you guys about two weeks ago and they're basically the best thing i've ever spent money on. I get so many compliments, and they're so comfy it's like walking on air. I can't believe I've never heard about you guys, everyone should own a pair of these sandals! Thanks guys!

I have had a pair of your amazing JC sandals for almost 3 years, they have been to more festivals than i can remember. Soon as the first sun rises in the year they are on my feet until the dreaded day when the winter cold and misery sets in again! They are the most comfortable footwear i have ever owned, and i get so many compliments on how great they look. So as my last pair are slowly fading, i had to order a new pair!!! Best thing ever! I ordered a pair of your JC with a little sole sandals back in late February/early March. I am a Pirate Re-enacter and I wanted a sturdy, historically accurate looking shoes for warm weather when boots are not practical. The first time I wore your sandals it was like a hug for my feet! They not only held up to long wear, about 20 hours at a clip, but they also were very comfortable for long walks and parade. I love them so much I have started wearing them for everyday use and have recommended them to my friends and fellow re-enactors. I wish you made them in more colors so I can match more of my garb!!!

I just wanted to say hey and gush about your product: I bought a pair of the Mountain Momma for my boyfriend and instantly ooozed with desire..We don't have the budget to get another pair right now, so I've been wearing his and even though his feet are bigger than mine, The ankle strap adjusts just enough to let me wear them comfortably. I travel alot on foot with the ever faithful fox dog and these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever met. I get blisters easily, and these barely make my feet pink where the rope sits. People of Earth, these sandals are the BEST THINGS I HAVE EVER PUT ON MY FEET! Since happening upon Nomadic State at Bonnaroo 2006, I have become prejudiced against any & all other types of shoes. Okay, so i have been searching for a sandal like this for years. I frequently spend summer months in the water, hiking, camping, and doing all kinds of things. These sandals have yet to fail me. They are just as comfy and stable wet as dry! I can use them on the jetski without losing them, and can walk a slippery, pebbly mountain stream without faltering! Plus, the biggest thing, I can drive my manual transmission truck with them- the only sandals ever to accomplish that feat on my feet! 2 thumbs up!

p.s., they also don't go "flip-flop" like some of your conspicuous competitors I shall refuse to name for their own protection.

Here is my coolest experience in my Nomadic Sandals!

It was a late evening in April 2008. The sun was setting, the air was warm, and the Frisbee was intense. As my brother and I were tossing our Frisbee, a breeze picked up and I tossed the disc into the side of the house splitting it and making a hole in the middle. Knowing the night was perfect for Frisbee, I was determined to fix the little problem and continue the good times. In the corner of the room was super glue and what seemed to be the perfect solution to our minor problem. I put the glue on and squeezed the sides together. I noticed the sides were uneven so I shifted the other half up. That's when it hit me. Not an idea but the glue. Directly in the eyeball. Before I could say ouch my eye was sealed and my mother was rushing me to the emergency room. They rushed me in and after a few minutes the doctor walked in. He looked at my eyes and then to my feet. The first thing out of his mouth? "Cool Sandals." That was the first time I smiled all night. So I just wanted to say thanks. Not just for the amazingly cool, durable sandals but for one hell of a story. Since then my sandals have gone to Gettysburg, Hiking across Pennsylvania, Golf courses, Summer camp, the bottom of a lake, the top of a roof, countless trips, and wherever i decide to wander. Now my sandals are beat up and worn but I will never forget the time my sandals walked me in to an emergency room to get super glue out of my eye. Thanks for making such an awesome product!

I just had to write you and rant and rave how great your sandals truely are. I'm naturualy sketchy about buying anything online, but you guys were so helpfull and understanding. The whole deal was smooth and easy and the sandals showed up in record time in my mailbox. You realy calmed all my fears about getting them in a timely fasion. But the real pleasure started when i put the sandals on my foot. You see, i have a rather nasty blister on the top of my foot from a certain popular rubber shoe that made working almost unbarable. But after a day of wearing your wonderful JC sandals my foot is already healed. Not so much as a scuff on my feet from the soft polypro, I never thought something could be so comfortable. There as soft and snuggly as a warm blanket. All my friends are getting christmas in august cause of your awesome product. Keep up the good work.

I just wanted you to know that I got the rope shoes today and I am so HAPPY!They are incredibly comfortable. Out here in Roswell with the aliens and the desert, it is hard to get comfy in the dry heat but these shoes are like little absorbent air conditioned mattresses for your feet. Anyway...
